Blazer's Bulletin 02/11/22

February 11th 2022

Dear RBS Family,

50 degrees in mid-February – we’ll take it, we deserve it, enjoy it ??! Just a few quick updates here for you as we wrap up another week of learning and growth here at RBS!

Perhaps as a result of this really nice weather, we’ve got our own version of Westfarms in terms of outdoor clothing gear in our lost and found! If any of this looks familiar (and this is only a sampling), please remind your children to pick ‘em up, or stop in at arrival or dismissal to do a little “shopping” – thank you!

I could also use your help with a few reminders about our parking lot. First, Garrie and I have noticed a few kids trying to get out from the driver’s side – that’s a big “no” as all our students need to get out on the curb (“passenger”) side of vehicles to be safely out of the flow of traffic. And for those parking and walking, which is always great!, please be sure to walk to the center of our front parking lot to use the crosswalk – I’ve seen a few kids darting ahead of their adults from in between cars, and that’s just a scary moment for everyone.

Thanks in advance for your following these guidelines! And on so many levels, those ‘reminders’ are wonderful for me to write because they are, well, ‘regular’ reminders in a ‘normal’ year – and it feels great to, step by step, keep on this course back to normalcy that we all want, and that we’re all working on making a reality!

With our continued appreciation (and a “I’m-happy-for-‘em, Go Bengals!” ??),

Noam, Susan, and our amazing RBS Team!
